A day of fun flying in December 2017

This past Saturday, December 30, 2017 was the best day of the week for flying. Everyone was at the field enjoying the weather. Partly cloudy, a light wind and the temperature hovering in the 60’s in the mid-morning. Marshall and I had a plan to not freeze in the morning but arrive around 10:30 – 11:00 and enjoy the day.

When we arrived we found there were plenty of members out there flying. I don’t know what time they arrived, but we were planning to be the “mid-day” group. After greeting everyone, watching the pilots fly their amazing machines we started to get set up. Unloading, testing, charging batteries and we were ready. Now some say charge your batteries at home and get a jump start, well that was the plan, but you know about plans. Either way we headed to the sky’s and never looked back. We flew most all planes that were brought out. Some flew better that others but we all had a good time.

If you are looking for a club that enjoys flying all day, come by and visit with us, or shoot us an email and let us know you are interested and we can meet you at the field and show you around. We can also get you in the air on a buddy box training session. That’s right! We can get you in the air and show you what it is all about.

If you are reading this and know Jerry, ask him the following questions:

  1. When did he arrive?
  2. When did he pack up?
  3. When did he need to leave?
  4. What time did he leave the field?
  5. What was he doing that caused him to stay?

When he smiles, sit back and listen to the story.
